Game Tips & Strategies

How to Maximize Your FS Points

Focus on Rare Fish: While common fish are easier to catch, rare fish like sharks (30 FS) and octopuses (25 FS) offer much better point values. Prioritize these when they appear!

Quick Reactions: Fish disappear after 5 seconds, so react quickly. Rare fish appear less frequently, so don't miss your chance.

Click Accuracy: Aim for the center of the fish. Missing clicks wastes valuable time.

Pattern Recognition: Fish spawn every 1.5 seconds. Get into a rhythm to catch them efficiently.

Understanding FS Points System

Starting Balance: You begin with 300 FS points. This is your base score.

Earning Points: Each fish you catch adds to your total. Points are awarded immediately upon catching.

Point Values: Points range from 10 FS (common fish) to 30 FS (shark). The rarer the fish, the more points it's worth.

No Penalties: Missing fish doesn't cost you points - only successful catches add to your score.

Reset: Your FS points reset to 300 when you click "Reset Game". Game progress is saved in your browser's local storage.

Advanced Strategies

Time Management: With only 60 seconds, every second counts. Don't wait for the "perfect" fish - catch what you can!

Multi-Targeting: When multiple fish are on screen, target the highest-value ones first, but don't ignore easy catches.

Consistency: Regular play improves your reaction time and pattern recognition.

Browser Performance: Close other tabs for smoother gameplay. Lag can cause missed catches.

Practice Mode: Use the reset button to practice without worrying about your score. Learn fish patterns and spawn rates.

Troubleshooting

Fish Not Appearing: Make sure JavaScript is enabled. Fish spawn every 1.5 seconds when the game is active.

Clicks Not Registering: Check that you're clicking directly on the fish. Try refreshing the page if issues persist.

Score Not Updating: Scores update in real-time. If you see a delay, it may be a browser performance issue.

Game Not Starting: Ensure you've clicked "Start Game" and the timer is counting down. The game area should show fish swimming.

Progress Lost: Game progress is saved in browser local storage. Clearing browser data will reset your progress.

Scoring Tips

To achieve a high score, focus on catching rare fish (sharks, octopuses, squid) which award 25-30 FS points each. A good strategy is to catch everything you can, but prioritize high-value targets when multiple fish are visible. With optimal play, scores of 500+ FS are achievable!
